Just seven months after we all enjoyed Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Episode VIII has finished shooting. Originally set to be released next May, the movie now won’t reach cinemas until December, though that has more to do with Disney not wanting to completely kill Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 at the box office than how long post production will take.

“Final slate of the final shot,” director Rian Johnson wrote in a post accompanying the video below. “VIII is officially wrapped. Thanks to the best cast and crew in the galaxy, and thanks to the fans for all the love and support through the whole process. Cannot wait to put it together and share it with you all!” That’s good and all, but when are we getting the title?

Chances are that it won’t be until after Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is released as Lucasfilm aren’t going to want to take any attention from that over the next few months as the marketing campaign kicks off. Regardless, seeing as it’s already been confirmed that Episode VIII picks up right where The Force Awakens ended, it can’t get here soon enough.
