J.J. Abrams’ Star Trek Into Darkness is just days away from hitting the big screen, with its UK release date fast approaching, touching down next Thursday.

Abrams is directing from a script penned by co-writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek, Transformers) and Damon Lindelof (Prometheus).
Star Trek Into Darkness will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on 9th May here in the UK. In the US, it will open at IMAX cinemas two days early on May 15th, before its wide US release date on May 17th. For now, here’s the great new poster to get you in the mood.
