They’ve been teasing us with the reveal for the past few days, but Sony have now finally released what they’re calling the final trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. As you might expect, it’s packed full of brand new footage and really gives us a better idea as to what we should expect from the Marc Webb helmed sequel.
The trailer offers up out best look yet at not only the Green Goblin, but also Spider-Man in action. They’ve clearly gone all out with the impressive CGI to create the best looking Spidey adventure yet, and many scenes look like they’ve been torn straight from the pages of the Marvel comic books this sequel is based on!
In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.
Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper and Paul Giamatti, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released in the UK on 18th April and in the US on May 2nd.
