Sabotage-Poster-sliceHitting US cinemas hard next month, David Ayer’s Sabotage is shaping up to be one of the most promising action/crime-thrillers of the year.

Ayer’s follow-up to the acclaimed End of Watch hasn’t been afraid to flaunt its R rating, with the red-band first trailer arriving late last year. And with just a few more weeks to go before it lands in screens across the Atlantic, IGN have debuted another red-band trailer to whet the appetite.

An elite DEA task force deals with the world’s deadliest drug cartels. Specializing in complex mobile operations, the team executes a tactical raid on a cartel safe house. What looks to be a typical raid turns out to be an elaborate theft operation, pre-planned by the DEA squad. After hiding millions in stolen cash, the team believes their secret is safe – until someone begins assassinating them one by one.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is of course front and centre here, with Ayer assembling a great ensemble, led by Joe Manganiello, Mireille Enos, Olivia Williams, Sam Worthington, Max Martini, Terrence Howard, and Josh Holloway.

Skip Woods (Hitman, A Good Day to Die Hard) is the man behind the script, with the writer also producing alongside Joe Roth (Snow White and the Huntsman).

Sabotage will be released in the US on March 28th, with its UK release date slated for 9th May.
