Filming is now underway on Deadpool, the comic book adaptation which fans never thought was going to happen. We obviously got a good look at the suit which will be worn by Ryan Reynolds in the movie in the first official still, not to mention that hilarious video in which Deadpool himself confirmed an R-Rating.

These new photos from the Vancouver set give us a great look at Reynolds (or possibly his stunt double) fully suited up and in action. Torn straight out of the pages of the comic books, it looks simply incredible.

It’s interesting to note that the white eye pieces are missing in most of the photos, an indication perhaps that they will be added later digitally as they tend to actually move when Deadpool is speaking, something which is impossible to make happen with a practical mask. It could be that the stuntman just needed to see of course! More photos can be seen at Just Jared by clicking on the link at the bottom of the page.

Written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and set to be released on February 12th, 2016. Which characters do we want to see in Deadpool? Find that out by clicking here.
