Former F1 drivers Niki Lauda, Jackie Stewart and David Coulthard were joined by McLaren drivers Jenson Button and Sergio Perez who were at the event to watch a movie that we here at HeyUGuys have been looking forward to for a long long time.

Ron Howard’s new movie Rush tells the story of the 70s rivalry between ladies man James Hunt and stickler for the rules Niki Lauda who was seriously hurt in an accident only to recover in ludicrously quick time to come back and race for his championship. Chris Hemsworth who has become more associated in his role as Thor takes on the role of Hunt while German actor Daniel Brühl plays Lauda in a role where he transforms himself and we talk to them both about working on a Ron Howard movie and how this experience compared to other roles which they’ve played.

We caught up with pretty much everyone mentioned above as well composer Hans Zimmer, Producers Guy East and Simon Oakes and co-stars Alexandra Maria Lara and Joséphine de La Baume. Check out all our interviews below.

Rush hits UK cinemas 13th September.
