Rush-PosterWe’re less than two months away from Ron Howard’s Rush hitting cinemas, and the anticipation is definitely running on high on this one.

The racing drama charters the renowned rivalry between James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) that gripped fans of the sport back in the ’70s.

With its September release fast approaching, Universal have debuted a new trailer, showcasing the rivalry between the leading men, and injecting the sex, tension, and adrenaline we can look forward to seeing in the movie, along with a handful of slow-mo sequences.

RUSH portrays the exhilarating true story of two of the greatest rivals the world has ever witnessed—handsome English playboy James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and his methodical, brilliant opponent, Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl). Set against the sexy and glamorous golden age of Formula 1 racing, Rush follows the two drivers as they push themselves to the breaking point of physical and psychological endurance, where there is no shortcut to victory and no margin for error.

Hemsworth and Brühl top a great cast, starring alongside Olivia Wilde, Alexandra Maria Lara, and Natalie Dormer.

Howard is reuniting once more with Peter Morgan, following their work on Frost/Nixon, with Morgan penning the Rush script.

Rush is set to be released in the UK on 13th September, and will head across the Atlantic the following week for its September 20th US release date. On the off chance you weren’t already looking forward to this, here’s the new trailer to get you in the right frame of mind. Enjoy.
