Official links to the duo, such as the writers agency Casarotto Ramsey and Associates or Eon productions (who produce the 007 films) , have not commented or confirmed on this story either way, so for the time being, this is all speculation for the six-time Bond writers. However with talks like this in the air it is a guarantee that the ball has started to roll on getting the Bond 25 up and running.

The work of Purvis and Wade, who wrote Spectre, Skyfall, Quantum of Solace and Casino Royale, can currently be seen in the form of SS-GB, a drama series based on the novel by Len Deighton and stars Sam Reilly and Kate Bosworth.

Neal Purvis and Robert Wade - Bond 25

With the talk that this duo may have signed up to Bond 25 just reignites the fire as to Daniel Craig’s future as Bond, Will he or won’t he jump back into the role that firmly placed his backside on the map?  If not, who could possibly replacement from the long list of worthy candidates which include Tom Hiddleston, Tom Hardy and Idris Elba? We think that’s a guessing game will be playing for the foreseeable.

Miss Moneypenny actress, Naomie Harris was drawn to comment on the issue saying “I don’t know. Everyone keeps asking and I’m like, ‘Guys, I don’t know. No one believes me but genuinely, I really don’t know. I really hope he comes back. I hope he does. But who knows at this point? I think the only person who knows, to be honest, is Daniel.”

Just maybe with the talks of Purvis and Wade coming back into the Bond fold for its next adventure means the executives at MGM have finally either talked Craig into coming back or have decided its time to move on with fresh blood – Only time will tell.
