On what has been named as the hottest day of the year in England, just got a whole lot hotter, as the stars were out in their numbers at the European premiere for Red 2, taking place in Leicester Square this evening.

Dean Parisot’s action comedy reunites the likes of Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren and Mary-Louise Parker  – and we had the pleasure of speaking to all three on the red carpet. We ask Willis about his inclination to make his colleagues laugh on set, while Mirren discusses her joy at playing strong female roles, and what it’s like to play a character for the second time, a task undertaken for just the first time in her film career.

Meanwhile Parker tells us of her joy working alongside Willis, and explains the development of her character, who sees far more action this time around. Finally, we also spoke to Game of Thrones star Oona Chaplin to discuss the much celebrated TV series, and her untimely exit.

Check out all four interviews below, and read our review here. The film is released on August 2nd across the UK.
