James Wan’s The Conjuring was a masterclass in 21st Century old school horror. It, like the Insidious and Sinister  series have more than a little Carpenter in their bones and with The Conjuring 2 Wan has made something almost impossible: a horror sequel as good as the original.

Crossing the pond for their second cinematic case Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga’s Ed and Lorraine Warren are taking on one of the UK’s most notorious ghost stories: The Enfield Poltergeist.
