If you’re a fan of Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak (better known as “Olicity” to those rooting for them to get together), then you’re going to love this promo as the two share a kiss in between plenty of great new footage from season three of Arrow. Though it’s brief, there are plenty of other notable moments too.
Those include a glimpse of Peter Stormare’s Count Vertigo and Oliver’s half-sister Thea being trained by the villainous Malcolm Merlyn, better known as The Dark Archer and her biological father. Will she join him in his fight against The Arrow or will he need to team up with Oliver when Ra’s Al Ghul comes to Starling City?
In the aftermath of this victory, Season Three opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen – not as long as the city needs The Arrow.
Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne, and John Barrowman, Arrow is set to return to The CW in the US on October 8th and should reach Sky1 in the UK shortly after. Are you looking forward to the return of Arrow?
