Following the release of sixteen (yes, sixteen) new posters for The Expendables 3 yesterday, Lionsgate have today released a new teaser trailer for the star-studded action movie which will team-up many of the world’s greatest action stars all in one movie.
Chances are you either loved or hated the first two instalments, but with a combined total of over 0 million at the worldwide box office, a third instalment was always going to happen.
Patrick Hughes – who will next tackle a remake of The Raid: Redemption – helmed this instalment, has assembled an incredible cast which includes Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Mel Gibson, Kellan Lutz, Antonio Banderas, Terry Crews, Harrison Ford, Dolph Lundgren, Kelsey Grammer, Randy Couture, and Jet Li.
They’re all featured in the teaser below along with some very exciting and explosive moments from the movie itself. The Expendables 3 is set to be released on August 15th, 2014. Excited?

In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney, Christmas and the rest of the team come face- to-face with Conrad Stonebanks, who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill… or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables, but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.
