With just over four months to go until we step back in time to a galaxy far, far away an announcement has been made that eager Star Wars fans will see a new trailer for Rogue One this Thursday.
Announced during one of NBC’s many Olympic advert breaks yesterday the trailer also looks to be different to the one shown recently at Star Wars Celebration.

The reason we know it’s a completely new trailer is that in the first trailer at the 0:25 mark, Jyn Erso delivers the line ‘Are you with me?’ and that wasn’t in the sizzle reel, nor the new trailer that was shown only to the Star Wars Celebration crowd.
The second trailer (see update below) has even more footage. Expect that to come in late on Thursday.

The ever wonderful Star Wars News Net have spotted another TV spot with yet more footage, including this look at Forest Whittaker’s Saw Gerrera, now spotting a handsome new barnet.
Keeping ourselves in the same galaxy for the time being, one of the actors who took an important role in the Prequel trilogy confirmed last week that he would be reprising his role in Rogue One.
If you care about cameo spoilers then just leave right now. This is not the place for you.
Now, eagle-eyed trailer hounds have already sniffed out that Jimmy Smits would be returning as Bail Organa, custodian on Princess Leia and the man voted Most Likely to address the senate in a turtleneck sweater.

Then last week Smits confirmed that he was to return as Organa, most probably in a small cameo. Here’s the clip.
All we need is Ewan McGregor to have filmed a scene in secret and Star Wars fans will be grinning from ear to ear like these two dudes.
