We are enjoying an increasingly steady stream of on-set shots and official publicity stills from the upcoming X-Men sequel/prequel/reboot/something and if you’ve been off the pace lately, here’s your chance to get back up to speed.

Our next little batch feature an unfortunate car, that looks like it’s been on the receiving end of a large boulder. It seems to have made quite a mess. The other shows us Charles Xavier with Mystique and what is apparently our first look at Oliver Platt’s mysterious “Man in Black”. He is indeed wearing a black suit, so that’s all well and good, but that gleaming white shirt does rather fly in the face of his enigmatic moniker.

Anyway, enjoy these two new shots and comment below on whether you are excited about this latest entry in the X-Men series or not. Either way, it’ll hit our screens in June.

Dave has been writing for HeyUGuys since mid-2010 and has found them to be the most intelligent, friendly, erudite and insightful bunch of film fans you could hope to work with. He's gone from ham-fisted attempts at writing the news to interviewing Lawrence Bender, Renny Harlin and Julian Glover, to writing articles about things he loves that people have actually read. He has fairly broad tastes as far as films are concerned, though given the choice he's likely to go for Con Air over Battleship Potemkin most days. He's pretty sure that 2001: A Space Odyssey is the most overrated mess in cinematic history.
