Screen Rant have jumped on a series of potentially spoilerific photos from the set of Captain America: The First Avenger, as well as a video chronicling some of the shoot.

With principle photography on the film finished, it appears director Joe Johnston and star Chris Evans have re-teamed for a very public encore. With Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Clark Gregg’s Agent Coulson joining Evans’ Steve Rogers in what seems to be present day New York – despite Marvel’s initial assurances that Fury was not to feature in Captain America: The First Avenger (recently debunked by Jackson on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) – this sequence could well prove to be the customary post-credits scene tying this to Joss Whedon’s upcoming Avengers film.

Tssk. Down in front!

With the video ending with a handshake, presumably following Roger’s arrival in the present day, it certainly looks like this particular assembly is on like Donkey Kong. You can find the images below:

So what did you make of the images and video? Not one of Marvel’s most energetic Easter Eggs. And what do you think was in the package Coulson handed to Fury? The shield, perhaps? Let us know in the comments section below.
