Skyfall imageDaniel Craig returns as James Bond later this year in Skyfall, the role he’s best known for and the one we all love him for.

Last month brought with it the first official trailer for the film, and now we have a new image of Craig at the National Gallery in London, as well as the details of the latest film’s official watch, Omega’s Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M “Skyfall” Limited Edition watch, limited to 5,007 pieces.

“In SKYFALL, Bond’s loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.”

Alongside Craig will be a fantastic supporting cast, headed up by Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Bérénice Marlohe, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, Ola Rapace, and of course, Dame Judi Dench.

The Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes (American Beauty) is behind the camera for his first Bond venture, directing a screenplay co-written by Bond-frequents Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, and one of my favourite writers of all time, John Logan (Gladiator, Coriolanus).

Skyfall will be released on 26th October here in the UK, before crossing the Atlantic a little later for a 9th November release in the US. Naturally, this is sure to be one of the best action films of the year, and expectations are high. More as we get it. And as usual with the images below, you can click to enlarge.
