When the first trailer for Lana and Andy Wachowski’s Jupiter Ascending was released last year, the reaction was mixed to say the least. Some loved the look of the latest movie from the duo behind The Matrix Trilogy, while others couldn’t quite get their heads around Channing Tatum’s ears!

It features plenty of never before seen footage from the movie and it makes it abundantly clear that this is the Wachowskis going 100%, full-blown sci-fi.
Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along – her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.
Also starring Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, James D’Arcy, Tim Pigott-Smith, and Doona Bae, Jupiter Ascending will be released in 3D on July 25th, 2014.
