Next year will see the debut of Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spinoff which puts the spotlight on Bob Odenkirk’s Jimmy McGill (or as we know him, Saul Goodman). It has been confirmed that the first season will be made up of 10 episodes and a second 13 episode season has already been given the green light!

In this new featurette, we hear from just about everyone working behind-the-scenes – with the majority returning from the Breaking Bad days – as well as Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks (Mike!) and Michael McKean.

Better Call Saul is set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and, often, against Jimmy, is “fixer” Mike Ehrmantraut and the series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “Criminal lawyer.” Better Call Saul’s tone is described as dramatic with dark humor.

Better Call Saul will air on AMC in the US, while it’s believed that it will reach the UK via Netflix.
