Ryan Reynolds has been dropping lots of great Deadpool teaser images on Twitter and Instagram lately, and now a special Comic-Con edition of Entertainment Weekly brings with it some great new stills from the film.
In them, we get to see Deadpool’s supporting cast, including characters like Weasel, Ajax, Angel Dust, and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. The latter is particularly interesting as she can be seen wearing what look an awful lot like an X-Men uniform. We know Colossus is going to show up, so there will be some ties to that team, but does this mutant give us our first look at the new modern superhero costumes for the X-Men?
Perhaps so, and there’s no denying that it’s nice to see more than just the black leather which has plagued the series much to the chagrin of comic book fans hoping to see the team actually look like heroes!
The cast of Deadpool are expected to appear this weekend at Comic-Con as part of Fox’s Hall H panel, and they’ll likely show off the first footage from the movie which is set to be released next February. While footage shown at the event doesn’t normally find its way online (not officially at least), here’s hoping that they decide to release a trailer!
