A few days ago I posted the first clip from Gore Verbinski’s animated comedy Rango, which I enjoyed, and now there’s another clip from the film which gives a good idea of the amazing visuals and a keen sense of the silliness on offer here.

It’s true that Blazing Saddles had a similar gag thirty odd years ago, but I’ll warrant few of you have seen an owl with an electric guitar – which makes this clip worth watching in itself.

Rango’s voice cast includes Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Bill Nighy, Ray Winstone, Timothy Olyphant, Abigail Breslin, Alfred Molina and is directed by Verbinski who you may remember from such seabound money spinners as the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

Here’s the clip from Yahoo, as I said the visuals are really impressive and if they can weave a decent story around the slapstick then I’ll be very happy indeed.
