Ang Lee’s Life of Pi debuted to brilliant reviews at the NYFF, and with its release now less than a month away in the US, the anticipation is naturally riding high for what promises to be one of the most visually impressive films of the year.

We saw the first clip from the film last week, and now Fox have released another great clip, showing off some of the brilliant visuals of the notorious Bengal tiger.

“Director Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) creates a groundbreaking movie event about a young man who survives a tragic disaster at sea and is hurtled into an epic journey of adventure and discovery. While marooned on a lifeboat, he forms an amazing and unexpected connection with the ship’s only other survivor — a fearsome Bengal tiger.”

Newcomer Suraj Sharma takes the lead in the coming epic drama, supported by Irrfan Khan, Tabu, Rafe Spall, and Gérard Depardieu, with Lee directing from a script by Oscar-nominated David Magee (Finding Neverland), adapting the critically acclaimed novel by Yann Martel.

Life of Pi will be released in 3D on 21st November in the US, just four short weeks away from arriving on the big screen. Here in the UK, we’ve slightly longer to wait, with its release set for 20th December, but everything we’ve seen so far suggests it’s going to be well worth the wait. Here’s the new clip to hold you over. Enjoy.
