Warner Bros. have released these rather lovely new character posters for the second installment of The Hobbit, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug Directed by Peter Jackson.
I do rather like these posters all except for Bilbo which seems to be somewhat of a Photoshop fail once again. I say once again after Warner Bros. also released this poster for Grudge Match last week.
These character posters give us a nice fresh look at Luke Evans as Luke Evans as Bard, Martin Freeman as Bilbo, Ian McKellen as Gandalf, Orlando Bloom as Legolas, Evanline Lilly as Tauriel, Richard Armitage as Thorin Oakenshield and Lee Pace as Thrandull.
The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug hits UK cinemas December 13th which isn’t too far away at all. Who’s excited?!
The second in a trilogy of films adapting the enduringly popular masterpiece “The Hobbit”, by J.R.R. Tolkien, “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” continues the adventures of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
