We’re certainly finding it hard to keep up with Netflix and their bid for TV and Film domination, it won’t be long before cinemas shut down as people won’t need to leave the comfort of their own living rooms to enjoy a film or TV show. Well, here we go again with a brand new first look image of Lily Collins in the upcoming To The Bone.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer writer and producer Marti Noxon takes the helm as well as penning this story of a young girls (Lily Collins) battle with anorexia and her struggles in recovery until she meets a left of centre doctor in the form of Keanu Reeves. Much like her character Collins, who had to lose 10kg for the role, is reported to have had an eating disorder herself as a child so the chance to play a character that could almost mirror her issues would be close to her heart.
Joining Collins and Reeves on the heavily female cast list are Ciara Bravo as Tracy and Carrie Preston as Anna and also see’s Bonnie Curtis, Julie Lynn and Karina Miller serving as producers
To The Bone will premiere exclusively on Netflix on Friday, 14th July.

Ellen is an unruly, 20-year-old anorexic girl who spent the better part of her teenage years being shepherded through various recovery programs, only to find herself several pounds lighter every time. Determined to find a solution, her dysfunctional family agrees to send her to a group home for youths, which is led by a non-traditional doctor. Surprised by the unusual rules—and charmed by her fellow patients—Ellen has to discover for herself how to confront her addiction and attempt self-acceptance, in order to stand a chance against her demons.
