That our entertainment holds a mirror up to our society is an obvious conclusion to draw. A good story can be retold over and over, in past and in present, redressed, but not reinvented, over time. Technology improves, then impinges on our lives. Drama, is timeless.
All of which is a massively overblown way of say that there’s a new, very 90s looking, poster and two new TV spots for Mobile-Dare thriller Nerve out today and you’re welcome to them.
Emma Roberts and Dave Franco are our two waywards players, taking daring instructions and live streaming all sorts of craziness to a paying audience. It’s very much taking techofear to an extreme, but hopefully an entertaining extreme.
