It’s been a busy week on HeyUGuys and to ease the journey into the weekend let’s cosy up and let the calming influence of the Mouth Off podcast wash over us, shall we? Lets.

You’d be hard pressed to find three more diverse films than the ones we’re discussing – a liberal guilt trip with writer/director Nicole Holofcener’s latest Please Give, Craig Skinner talks up Harmony Korine’s Trash Humpers and Brendon Connelly tells us all about the Spanish film Hierro.

We champion the trailer for Mark Romanek’s latest, his adaptation of Never Let Me Go which blew our collective minds, we journey through Oz with some unexpected companions and we rip into Warner Bros’s decision to do a tentpole Don Quixote film.

We’ll be taking a break next week so look out in two weeks time for the big 25th edition of Mouth Off!

You may have seen we now have a HeyUGuys forum so click here to talk about the films, news items or the Ripped from the Crypt choices we make this week.

Click here to subscribe or listen to the Mouth Off feed in iTunes, where you can also find our older episodes.

I hope you enjoy it, do let us know what you want to hear, or if you agree or disagree with us – leave your comments here, or email us on MouthOff@heyuguys.co.uk

Here’s our Ripped From the Crypts for this week…our theme this week is Musicals!

My choice is Woody Allen’s Everyone Says I Love You.

Craig chose 8 femmes,

Brendon had three choices this week – first of he points us to the 1967 beach party wonder It’s a Bikini World

Then he takes us to the Forbidden Zone,

Finally we get a Visit from the Incubus

And here’s the Polish Brother’s tease for what looks like their own version of Oz…
