Even Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man might struggle to top Matthew Vaughn’s Kingsman: The Secret Service as 2015’s best comic book adaptation after Matthew Vaughn took Mark Millar (Kick-Ass) and Dave Gibbons’ (Watchmen) already very good series and transformed it into a truly great movie last month.

However, some images from a deleted scene have surfaced on a VFX website (their legitimacy was confirmed by Millar on Twitter), and they feature legendary actor Michael Caine transformed into a version of himself 40 years younger! As you can see by clicking on the pictures below, it’s very convincing!

There’s no word on how this would have played into Kingsman, but the fact that the sequence was clearly completed will hopefully mean that it’s included on the upcoming DVD and Blu-ray release of the movie.

Vaughn co-wrote the script with Jane Goldman, and Kingsman: The Secret Service focuses on the story of an agent (Colin Firth) in a super-secret spy organization that recruits an unrefined but promising street kid (Taron Egerton) into the agency’s ultra-competitive training program just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius. The cast also included Mark Strong and Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Mark Hamill.
