The film, which already boasts Mia Wasikowska and Nicole Kidman in starring roles, will mark the English language début for South Korean filmmaker Chan-wook Park: the celebrated director of The Vengeance Trilogy of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.

Charting the mourning period of a teenage girl who is forced to deal with the unexpected appearance of Goode’s mysterious uncle, Stoker boasts a script from Wentworth Miller’s pseudonym Ted Foulke, and is to be produced by Tony and Ridley Scott’s Scott Free banner.
