It’s been roughly three years since the first trailer for The Avengers (or Avengers Assemble as it was known in the UK) was released, but we now finally know when we’ll get a first look at Avengers: Age of Ultron!

Following tonight’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., it was revealed that the trailer will premiere during next week’s instalment. That’s not a particularly UK friendly time as it means that the preview will probably find its way online anywhere between 2am to gone 3am! The announcement can be seen below.

Watch out for spoilers though as the first 20 seconds or so contains footage from the sixth episode of the Marvel TV series, and the first has yet to be shown on this side of the pond, but returns to Channel 4 soon.

The sequel is set to be released on May 1st, 2015 and Joss Whedon once again directs. The first movie earned over $1.5 billion worldwide, and after a number of other highly successful releases over the past two years, Marvel Studios must be hoping Avengers: Age of Ultron becomes the biggest movie of all-time!

The cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron is huge, and it includes the likes of  Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Paul Bettany, James Spader, and Samuel L. Jackson.
