Produced by Marvel Television, ABC Studios, and Netflix, Daredevil follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

The anticipated new series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson with Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.

After months of speculation, the premiere date for Daredevil has been revealed. It will debut on the online streaming service on April 10th, a few weeks before the release of Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. All 13 episodes will be available on that date, and you just know that comic fans will delve right in!

Also below is the first teaser trailer (there’s no footage from the series included unfortunately), and a poster which sees the classic Daredevil logo light up the murky streets of New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen.

Daredevil is one of five Marvel shows coming to Netflix, with the others being Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and The Defenders. This series is Executive Produced by series Showrunner Steven S. DeKnight (Spartacus) and Drew Goddard (Cabin in the Woods), with the latter writing the first two episodes.
