There’s a small low-budget movie coming out on Thursday called The Hobbit this Thursday 14th December. We’ve all been looking forward to this, the first part of the Peter Jackson’s new prequel to The Lord of the Rings Trilogy for years and it’s finally here. We’ve written over 150 posts on this movie over the last three years and it does seem rather odd that the movie we’ve all wanted to see for so long has finally arrived.

Our friend James Kleinmann chats with Martin Freeman who plays Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. In the interview we get to find out the similarities between Martin and Bilbo, working with Director Peter Jackson and being part of no doubt one of the biggest movie franchises of the next decade. We also get to hear how he has come to terms with playing the role and how even he may get bored of seeing his face on movie posters for the next few years.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is released this Friday, 14th December and we can’t wait for you to see it! Our review of the movie is here.
