We all know that Marvel likes to sign their actors up to lengthy multi picture deals, but has Warner Bros. done the same with the stars of Suicide Squad? That’s not quite clear just yet, but Margot Robbie sounds happy to keep playing Batman character Harley Quinn in the DC Cinematic Universe for the foreseeable.

In a recent interview to promote Focus, the Australian actress said: “You don’t need to have commitment issues to be frightened by the fact that you might have just signed 10 years of your life away… But with [Harley Quinn], it’s a character I don’t think would ever get boring. Ever. So if they did ‘Suicide Squad One,’ ‘Two’ and ‘Three,’ I would be over the moon about it.” Does that mean we’ll get a decade of Harley Quinn?

It certainly sounds that way, and Robbie then went on to discuss how she plans to move forwards with her career outside of the DC Cinematic Universe by creating her own opportunities.”If there aren’t roles you want to play, then you’ve kind of got to create them. Just started a production company, actually, and our goal is going to be to work with female writers and directors, and female-driven scripts. We want to change things.”

The actress made a name for herself with The Wolf of Wall Street, and has a number of big roles on the way other than Suicide Squad. Those include Z for Zachariah alongside Chris Pine and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Harry Potter director David Yates’ Tarzan remake in which she will play Jane opposite Alexander Skarsgård.
