Following a few choice teases on social media in the last few weeks we’ve finally got another good look at Logan, perhaps the last Wolverine film starring Hugh Jackman. A new trailer has appeared, which builds on the the amazing first teaser trailer we saw a while ago. Director James Mangold and the X-Men veteran have talked up the mature skew of this latest film, and the serious tone of the images released so far are evidence of this.

What we know Sir Patrick Stewart will be returning thanks to this image released by Mangold and time has not been kind to the Professor. The X-Men universe has been growing darker throughout the previous few cinematic installments and this new film may well point to bleak future for the mutants. It also looks to reduce the scope of previous films to a more personal battle being waged with the introduction of Dafne Keen as X-23, or Laura Kinney. Much of the existing promotion shows us the bond between the two.

Richard E. Grant is another newcomer to the series, as subsequent revealed by the director. Grant will play Dr. Zander Rice, the man responsible for creating X-23, and no doubt the man behind the dark forces mentioned in the synopsis below.

Here’s the new trailer – really can’t wait to see this…
