Taken

Appearing on ITV’s The Jonathan Ross Show this past weekend, Liam Neeson revealed one very surprising detail about Olivier Megaton’s follow-up to Taken 2.

In the third instalment of the popular franchise, no one actually gets taken! “They called me up and I said ‘I’ll do it,'” the Batman Begins actor told the host. “But only as long as nobody gets Taken!”

If you look at the interview below, he doesn’t appear to be joking and it makes sense that they might try a different format for the next movie (especially after critics and moviegoers pointed out the ludicrousness of Bryan Mills’ family being kidnapped yet again).

Neeson went on to say that Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen’s script tells a “really, really good story.” Maggie Grace is expected to return, and it was recently reported that Forest Whitaker is in talks to join the cast in an unspecified role.

What will the movie be called? Taken 3? Tak3n? Untaken? We’ll just have to wait and see…
