Warner Bros. has released the new trailer for Kong: Skull Island, and in it we get our first proper look at both the “God” known as King Kong and the humans who will soon make the mistake of paying a visit to his home. It’s an absolutely incredible teaser for what’s to come, and goes very nicely with those cool posters which were released by the studio yesterday.

Plot details are being kept under wraps, but this movie won’t be the classic beauty and the beast type story about Kong being brought back to New York City and climbing the Empire State Building. Instead, Kong: Skull Island will delve into the monster’s homeland, telling an original story which promises to deliver something very fresh and exciting for the character.

That’s something which is evident from this trailer as we get to see King Kong taking on several different monsters, all of which look utterly terrifying. However, the titular monster is clearly the biggest attraction and he too gets plenty of amazing moments to shine here.

The cast of Kong: Skull Island includes Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, and John C. Reilly, and it’s currently set to be released on March 10th, 2017.
