We’ve finally got a better idea of what will be coming our way when we disembark with Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson on Skull Island. A new behind the scenes video has been released giving us hints as to the story which will be told.
As with many tentpole films currently in production Kong: Skull Island is a cog, though a sizable one, in a larger machine. The success of Gareth Edwards’ recent Godzilla means a monster franchise in all senses is now on the horizon. Once we’re done with Brie and Tom on Skull Island we’ll be looking at a return to the heady days of the monster mash with Godzilla vs King Kong.
Though details of exactly where this new film sits within the Kongverse have been hard to come by, as well as the ongoing uncertainty of the size difference between the two monsters, MTV went behind the scenes and came back alive with quite a bounty.
