Kick-Ass-2-Character-Poster-Kick-AssKick-Ass 2 can’t come fast enough this summer.

The awesome first red-band trailer dropped this week, giving us a brilliant first look at the film. And it was soon followed by the first teaser poster for the comic book movie blockbuster, along with a handful of new images.

And now, as if they weren’t sweet enough, six new character posters have debuted over at Cine1, giving us a look at Kick-Ass, Hit-Girl, The Mother F**ker, and more. And as you can imagine from the asterisks, these are the rare kind of posters that aren’t quite suitable for work.

Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2.

After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit-Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation. When we last saw junior assassin Hit-Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy.

Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit-Girl, she’s forced to retire—leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own. With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes. Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world’s first super villain, The Mother F%&*^r, assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl pay for what they did to his dad. But there’s only one problem with his scheme: If you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse reprise their leading roles, with Nicolas Cage, Lyndsy Fonseca, Yancy Butler, and Clark Duke returning alongside them. And joining the cast for the sequel are Jim Carrey, Donald Faison, Lindy Booth, Andy Nyman, Robert Emms, John Leguizamo, and Olga Kurkulina.

Jeff Wadlow is behind the camera this time around in Matthew Vaughn’s place. And Wadlow is directing from his own script, based on the original comics by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr, with Vaughn remaining on board to produce.

Kick-Ass 2 is set to hit theatres on 16th August, and that’s definitely a release date you’ll want to commit to memory. This is going to be a lot of fun. For now, here are the new character posters (and a final reminder that they’re not all entirely suitable for work).
