The more we see of the upcoming 21 Jump Street remake, the better it looks. We got the first trailer for the film towards the end of last year, and things have looked great in all we’ve had since then.

With Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in the leads, we should be in store for a terrific action-comedy when it lands next month. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, co-directors of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, make their live-action feature debut with this, from a script by Michael Bacall (Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) and Hill himself, which sounds awesome in my books.

“In the action-comedy 21 Jump Street, Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are more than ready to leave their adolescent problems behind. Joining the police force and the secret Jump Street unit, they use their youthful appearances to go undercover in a local high school. As they trade in their guns and badges for backpacks, Schmidt and Jenko risk their lives to investigate a violent and dangerous drug ring. But they find that high school is nothing like they left it just a few years earlier and neither expects that they will have to confront the terror and anxiety of being a teenager again and all the issues they thought they had left behind.”

We’ve now got a great new clip and some new images to share with you, courtesy of Collider and ComingSoon.net, who were both lucky enough to visit the set during the filming of this new scene, and apparently we can look forward to a lot more that’s been edited out for this when it hits the big screen, which is excellent news. It’s a great clip that should get even better.

Along with Hill and Tatum in the leads, the film also stars Ice Cube, Brie Larson, Dave Franco, Ellie Kemper, Rob Riggle, and a cameo from Johnny Depp, star of the original 1980s TV series.

21 Jump Street will be with us on 16th March here in the UK and in the US, so we’ve got exactly one month to go before seeing it in our local cinemas. It should be a lot of fun, and here’s the new clip to prove it, followed by a few new images that you can click to enlarge. Enjoy.
