“Fear turns men into Monsters” a tagline for the upcoming horror flick It Comes at Night couldn’t be any truer after watching the trailer for the critically acclaimed film which premiered at the Outlook Film Festival over the past weekend.

The new trailer, which was released by A24 this morning, will chill you to the bone as well as wince at the spewing blood from a young women’s mouth while in the throes of passion with a young man. Joel Edgerton takes the lead in which see two families come together in the middle of a desolate forest – yep that alone gives it all the hallmarks you need for a horror – in their bid to stay safe from an outside threat. A red door seems extremely symbolic in the trailer as the only way in or out. Both families, consumed by their paranoia start to take drastic horrifying measures whilst without really giving anything away.
