It wasn’t long ago we spoke to John Hurt about Snowpiercer, where he was evidently perturbed with apparent cuts to be made by the studio. However now we meet for an entirely different project, and thus contend with a much chirpier John Hurt, as he spoke to us alongside Irina Shayk, as they discuss their respective roles in the forthcoming blockbuster Hercules.
Hurt – who plays Lord Cotys – explained what attracted him to getting involved in this production, while Shayk explains how she learnt on the job, in what is her feature film debut, comparing this experience to her career in modelling. Meanwhile, we couldn’t help but ask Hurt about Snowpiercer just one last time…
Hercules is released on July 25th.
