Having spent some time with The Muppets themselves, we had the pleasure of sitting down with the film’s director, and co-writer James Bobin, ahead of the release of the eagerly anticipated sequel, Muppets Most Wanted.
Bobin discusses taking over scriptwriting duties from the departing Jason Segel, and what it means for him to make films that can be enjoyed by all the family. He also tells us of his admiration for friends and collaborators Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement for their work on the film, and briefly discusses the forthcoming picture Through the Looking Glass, which he’s in line to direct.
