Having recently directed remakes of both The Pink Panther and The Karate Kid, it seems that Norwegian filmmaker Harald Zwart thrives in pressure, and he turns his head this time around to the much celebrated fantasy fiction novels The Mortal Instruments, which hits cinemas on August 21st.
Zwart talks about the pressure attached to taking on a film with such an expectant fan base already in place, as well as the process of bringing Cassandra Clare’s words to the big screen.
