The next Wolverine movie is a mystery, though we do know that it will feature Hugh Jackman’s final appearance as the fan-favourite mutant and that Patrick Stewart will be joining him as Professor X. At Comic-Con, the Australian actor even teased that it would adapt Old Man Logan! Now, a few more details about what to expect have surfaced.

Jackman actually recently reached out to fans via social media to ask what they’d like to see in his final Wolverine movie, and it sounds like he definitely too notice of the response.

“There were a lot of calls for Victor Creed to come back,” he told The Daily Telegraph’s Sydney Confidential Podcast in reference to the villain played by Liev Schreiber in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (that movie was terrible, but the Ray Donovan star was a highlight).

“I must admit I was quite heartened by a number of people saying please don’t make it the last, but look, I’m really excited about this last one. And if you’re a comic book fan, the words ‘berserker rage’ came up a lot. If you know Wolverine, you’ll understand.”

Wolverine’s berserker rage occurs when Logan enters an uncontrollable state where he goes completely off the handle and out of control, killing anything and everyone in his path!

Seeing that on the big screen should be a lot of fun. Here’s hoping Sabretooth returns too.
