Making an appearance out in Comic-Con this weekend, Alexander Aja’s upcoming fantasy/horror-thriller Horns is set to light up the box office this Halloween.

Daniel Radcliffe is front and centre, adding some impressive star firepower for the genre’s biggest weekend of the year. The first teaser trailer had previously leaked online earlier in the month, but was swiftly taken down in an effort to keep it under wraps until the film’s official debut out in San Diego. And now Radius has launched a full-length trailer, confirming all your suspicions about this being something to look forward to this October.

Radcliffe conquered the genre two years ago when The Woman in Black turned its $15m. budget into almost $130m. worldwide, and he looks set to bring audiences back to theatres once more.

Ig Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe) is accused for the violent rape and killing of his girlfriend, Merrin Williams (Juno Temple). After a hard night of drinking, Ig awakens, hungover, to find horns growing out of his head; they have the ability to drive people to confess sins and give in to selfish impulses. Ig decides to use this effective tool to discover the circumstances of his girlfriend’s death and to seek revenge by finding the true murderer.

Juno Temple stars opposite Radcliffe as his murdered girlfriend, joined by Max Minghella, Kelli Garner, David Morse, and Heather Graham.

Aja (The Hills Have Eyes) directs from a script by Keith Bunin (In Treatment), who adaps the original novel by Joe Hill.

Horns will be released on October 31st in the US and UK.
