Last weekend the Classic Car Boot Sale took place at London’s SouthBank Centre and HeyUGuys were invited to go along and take some of the very special ‘guests’!

The very special attraction was the DeLorean from Back To The Future with an added side dish of the car version of Bumblebee from Transformers thrown in! There can be few cars more iconic in movie history than the DeLorean and we were privileged to have access to the beautifully maintained car for a little while to live out our Marty McFly dreams under the watchful gaze of the London Eye and the clock tower of Westminster. It’s 30 years since the first film came out to a rapturous reception and the more recent success, and well publicised angst, surrounding the Secret Cinema’s presentation of the film last year is a testament to its enduring popularity.

We also had the opportunity to interview the organiser of the Classic Car Boot Sale, co-founder of fashion house Red or Dead and acclaimed fashion designer Wayne Hemingway, about the event and the appeal of timeless designs that were both on display and on sale at the event.

Below you can see some of the other fabulous vehicles that were at the event including some classic 40s and 50s American cars, British Minis made iconic by The Italian Job and a range of other vintage autos, many of which were being used to sell equally similarly vintage treasures.
