The New York Comic Con is taking place over the next few days, and while we won’t get much in the way of big movie news, the highlight of the event should be a first look at Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil series.

However, Disney today released a brand new trailer and poster for Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland (which stars George Clooney and can be viewed by clicking here) and a sizzle reel for Big Hero 6 which serves as a new trailer for the highly anticipated movie which puts the spotlight on the colourful cast of characters.

Marvel’s role in Big Hero 6 was minimal and the project is said to be very much the brainchild of Disney Animation. Whether we’ll ever get an animated feature from Marvel Studios remains to be seen.

While Big Hero 6 isn’t set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and doesn’t feature big name characters like Captain America or Iron Man, but the movie which is based loosely on a few short-lived comic book series’ of the same name is directed by Don Hall and Chris Williams and looks like an awful lot of fun.

Starring Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, TJ Miller, Jamie Chung, Damon Wayans Jr., Genesis Rodriguez, Daniel Henney. Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell, and Alan Tudyk, Big Hero 6 is set to be released this November in the US, but it won’t reach the UK until February, just like The Muppets and Wreck-it Ralph!
