One of the most anticipated movies for 2013 HAS to be Warner Bros’ reboot of the Superman franchise. Henry Cavill is back in Man of Steel and today we get to see a new image of the man himself on the cover of an international Magazine Studio Cine Live.
Earlier this week we got to see a new image of Cavill as one of the most famous Superheroes as he’s led away in handcuffs by some law enforcement officers. Surely he could break free of those should he chose but we’ll have to await to see more in the new year. If you missed the first trailer from the movie back in the summer, click here to have a good look.
Man of Steel is directed by Zack Snyder, stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Russell Crowe, Diane Lane, Kevin Costner, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon, Christopher Meloni, Antje Traue, Harry Lennix, Ayelet Zurer, Richard Schiff and is released 14th June 2013.
In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.
