Hayley Atwell has been added to the cast of Embargo Films’ drama-thriller I, Anna.
Atwell will star opposite Charlotte Rampling (Never Let Me Go), Gabriel Byrne (The Usual Suspects), Eddie Marsan (The Disappearance of Alice Creed), Honor Blackman (Goldfinger), Bill Milner (Son of Ranbow) and Jamie Foreman (Layer Cake).
A noir thriller told from the point of view of a femme fatale, who falls for the detective in charge of a murder case.
Barnaby Southcombe will direct from a script he co-wrote with Elsa Lewin.
Atwell will next be seen in Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger, which opens in the UK on July 29.
