You could probably mark this one down in the ‘well drrrr’ category but MTV caught up with Producers of the Harry Potter franchise, David Haymen and David Barron and asked the question about retrofitting the Potter back-catalogue into 3d for theatrical re-release.

They didn’t exactly come right out and say ‘yes’ but more importanantly for those of you desperate for more Potter, they didn’t say ‘no’ wither! They did however admit that ‘The Studio (Warner Bros.) would be reluctant to let it die’ (hence the well drrr comment!).

We know that all Muggles everywhere will go and see these movies in any new release that the studio decide to bring out. I’m sure once the eight and final movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is released, Potter days will no doubt be created all over the globe watching all eight movies back to back and I’m sure Warner Bros. and cinemas will be encouraging this.

Check out the Josh Horowitz interview with the two David’s below.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is release July 15th.
