Breaking news for fans of all things Harry Potter – The Royal Albert Hall have just announced that the  announced that the Harry Potter Concert Experience is coming to the Royal Albert Hall in May 2017.

The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra will play the John Williams’ score live on stage while the first movie in the series (Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone) is projected on a giant screen. This show is set to be performed across the globe but the world premiere will be in London with the first three shows.

Harry Potter is the creation of novelist J.K. Rowling whose books created a new phenomenon across the globe. Warner Bros. snapped up the distribution rights to the  story of a young wizard at school called Hogwarts.

Starring Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagall, Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid,  Alan Rickman as Professor Snape and of course Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson as Harry, Ron and Hermione, it was both a critical success and a box-office sensation.
