On the official BBFC website, they cite “contains moderate fantasy violence and threat” as the reasons behind the decision.

Similarly, in the US, the Motion Picture Association of America has awarded the film the rating equivalent, PG-13, due to intense action violence, frightening images and brief sensuality.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Alan Rickman, Helena Bonham-Carter, Ralph Fiennes and Michael Gambon. It will be released by Warner Bros. on November 19.
